Dr. Burke
Dr. Burke was raised in Anaheim, California and attended Valencia High School in Placentia, finishing 6th in his class. He did his undergraduate work at the University of California at Santa Barbara, majoring in Chemical Engineering and earning Dean’s List Status each undergraduate year. He moved on to  complete a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA, earned multiple number 1 class rankings in coursework, and graduated in 1986. Immediately following graduation, he completed a one year Residency in General Practice at the VA Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. This included serving as the hospital’s resident dentist and included advanced coursework and rotations in oral surgery, internal medicine, endodontics, TMD treatment, fixed prosthodontics, and removable prosthodontics. After receiving his residency certificate, Dr Burke moved to Birmingham, Alabama to complete a three year specialty residency in Orthodontics. While earning this specialty certificate he simultaneously earned a Master of Science degree through the graduate school and this thesis work appeared in the prestigious American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1992. While a resident at UAB, he was hired as a professional consultant by five different orthodontic faculty members.

Dr Burke entered private practice as an associate in 1990 in Southern California and in 1991 he opened his own practice in Temecula and Lake Elsinore locations. He served as a part time clinical instructor in the UCLA Department of Orthodontics from 1993 to 2000 and earned his Board Certification from the American Board of Orthodontics in 2001. Dr Burke is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tri-county Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, and the San Diego Academy of Orthodontics Study Club. Dr Burke lives in Murrieta with his wife Suzonne, daughter Summer, and son Austin.
